How to Use Photo Editing Credits Without Wasting Them
Credits are the balance you use for AI tools on this site. Nobody likes to spend them on a result they cannot use. Most waste comes from the same few causes: a poor photo, the wrong tool, and running again without changing anything.

This guide first lists the rules the site states, then gives practical habits. We do not state prices or plan details here; see the pricing page for the current numbers.

The rules the site states
- One balance of credits works across the tools.
- Every tool shows how many credits a run uses before it starts, and nothing runs until you confirm.
- Credits are held only while your photo is being processed. If processing fails they are returned automatically, and while a result is still unconfirmed the hold can last until the check is finished.
- Credits expire. Credit packs bought on the website last 365 days, subscription credits up to 60 days, and welcome credits for new members 14 days. Credit packs bought in the app never expire. The credits that expire soonest are used first. (Terms, pricing page)
- A finished result is kept for 24 hours so you can download it. The Privacy Notice says results are fully deleted from storage within 7 days.
- Plans, packs and the current amounts are on the pricing page, and the pricing page is the reference if anything here is out of date.
Habits that help
6b. Use credits before they expire. Credits have an expiry date, so don't let a balance sit; the soonest-to-expire credits are used first.
- Pick the right tool first
Read the tool page and look at its examples before uploading.
- Prepare the photo
A sharp, well-lit photo with the subject clearly visible gives the tool more to work with. See our guides for the tool you are using.
- Test with one photo
If you have many photos, run one first and check the result at 100 percent. Only then do the rest.
- Read the price every time
Prices differ between tools, so look at the number before you confirm.
- Change the input before you repeat
If a result is not right, try a different photo, a smaller change or another option. Repeating the same input costs credits again.
- Download straight away
Results are kept for 24 hours, so save the ones you want.
- Check what each tool cannot do
For example, photo restoration keeps the original tones (for colour on a black-and-white photo, use the colorize tool), and virtual try-on does not accept underwear or swimwear. Reading the limits first avoids a wasted run.
What is not waste, and what is
- A run that fails: credits come back automatically, so nothing is lost. If the result is not yet confirmed, the credits may stay held until the check is finished.
- A run that finishes but you do not like the result: the credits are used, because the run completed. That is why testing with one photo matters.
- Using the credit balance for a photo that does not suit the tool is the most common waste: for instance, a very small or very dark photo.
Before you run a batch
- Write down what a good result looks like (sharp edges, the same face, the right colour).
- Run one photo, then compare the result with that list.
- If it passes, run the others. If not, change the input.
Frequently asked questions
Can I see the price before I run any tool?
Yes. Every tool shows its credit price before it starts.
Do I lose credits if something goes wrong?
Not for a failed run: the held credits come back automatically. The one wrinkle is a result that has not been confirmed yet, where the credits may stay held until the check ends.
What if I do not like the result?
A finished run is charged. Change the photo or option before running again.
How long do my results stay?
24 hours, so download what you want to keep. The Privacy Notice says results are fully deleted from storage within 7 days.
Where do I see plans and current amounts?
On the pricing page.
See the price first
Every tool shows its credit price before it runs, and failed runs give the credits back. Check the pricing page for current plans.
