Which blur type should I pick?

Standard suits slightly soft photos. Out of focus is for when the camera focused on the wrong spot. Motion blur is for camera shake or a moving subject. Portrait is tuned for faces. If unsure, start with Standard.

No. AI can only sharpen detail that is partly there. Very heavy blur, tiny faces in a crowd, or unreadable text and license plates will not become sharp, and sharpening can make grain more visible.

How is this different from the upscaler or retouch?

Deblur makes a photo sharper at the same size. AI upscaler 2× makes it bigger, and Portrait retouch smooths skin. For a small, blurry photo, sharpen it first, then upscale.

How big is the result?

The same size as the photo you uploaded (up to 1600 px on the long side). A very detailed result may be saved slightly smaller so it fits our storage limit.
