Is Streakfire Right for You?
Last updated:
Before you install a habit app, it helps to know whether it fits how you work.
Here is a short, honest list for Streakfire. If you land on the not for you side, that is fine.
It suits you if you
- Want to check in once a day and watch a grid fill up.
- Want to choose your own days, for example only Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
- Like a looser goal such as "3× a week".
- Want to count the days and money saved while you break a bad habit (the quit counter).
- Prefer not to sign up: no account, no login, and your habit data stays on your phone.

It may not suit you if you
- Use an iPhone older than iOS 17, which Streakfire needs.
- Want to track many habits at once on the free version. The free version holds 5 habits; watching a short ad can add a few more, up to 7. Pro is a subscription with no cap on the number of habits.
- Are looking for professional help with quitting. The quit counter is a counter, not medical advice.
- Expect the app to do the habit for you. It records what you do. The doing is yours.

A quick way to decide
- Check your iPhone runs iOS 17 or later.
- Pick one habit you would track tomorrow.
- Decide whether 5 habits are enough to begin with.
- If yes, start with that one habit. See how to start a habit.
- If you want to stop something, read how the quit counter works.
