Is Paidstamp Right for You? It Cannot Replace an Official Invoice

Last updated:

Paidstamp is for people who write quotations, invoices and receipts on their phone. Before you install it, here is an honest look.

The key point first: Paidstamp cannot replace an official invoice such as a Taiwan uniform invoice or e-invoice.

Note: this is a commercial document, not an official tax invoice where your country requires one.

It suits you if you

  • Are a freelancer or creator taking on projects, a craftsperson, a studio or a small shop.
  • Want to make quotations, invoices and receipts on your phone.
  • Want your client to sign to accept a quotation on your phone. The free version includes one signed acceptance a month; Pro has no limit.
  • Would rather work without an account: documents and client details are kept on your phone.

It may not suit you if you

  • Need to issue a uniform invoice or e-invoice. Paidstamp cannot replace them.
  • Use an iPhone older than iOS 17, which Paidstamp does not run on.
  • Need a shared system for several people. Documents stay on your phone.
  • Make many documents. The free version allows 10 a month and shows ads. Pro is a subscription with no limit.

Decide in a minute

  1. Check you are on iOS 17 or later.
  2. Check that you need quotations, invoices and receipts, not an official tax invoice.
  3. Try a quotation: how to open one and get a signature.
  4. See how a job flows: quotation to invoice to receipt.
